Hosts Poland and the Slovak Republic improved their marks to a perfect 2-0 with blowout victories to lead their respective groups after the second day of action at the U20 European Championship for Women Division B in Poznan.
Marta Jujka collected 12 points and 12 rebounds and Mirela Pultorak led all scorers with 14 points in Poland's 89-38 demolition of Portugal in Group B.
Katarzyna Bednarczyk (12) and Agnieszka Kaczmarczyk (10) also hit double figures for Poland, who gave up just eight points in the second half to Portugal.
The other Group B match on Saturday saw Netherlands allow just five points in the fourth quarter of a 61-47 victory over Israel to improve to 1-0 while Israel dropped to 0-2. Sharon Beld tallied 10 points and 10 rebounds while younger sister Myrthe tallied 11 points for the Dutch.
The Slovak Republic are in sole possession of first place in Group A after a 90-57 route of Ireland. Katarina Pindrochova collected 15 points as every Slovak player scored at least two points. The Slovaks led 46-16 at the break and were up 73-32 after three periods.
Romania evened their record in Group A at 1-1 following a 69-61 win over Great Britain. Claudia Pop paced the Romanians with 19 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals. And a game-high 22 points by Britain's Harriett Yea were not enough as they dropped to 0-1.
