MVP Volodymyr Gerun (Ukraine)
Ukraine big man Volodymyr Gerun was voted the Most Valuable Player of the tournament

Volodymyr Gerun of Silver Medalists Ukraine had additional reason for celebration after the Final of the U16 European Championship Men Division B in Tallinn, Estonia.

The 2.05 Power Forward was voted the tournament MVP after leading his team with 17.3 points and 9.1 rebounds per game.

His 2.4 blocks per contest were second best in the competition and he has top ten appearances in as many as 10 statistical numbers, among those field goal percentage (eighth, 51.6%) and double-doubles (10th, three).

He was not the only Ukraine player to be voted into the best five of the tournament though.

Point guard Danylo Zuikov, who already played for Ukraine in last year's campaign joined the big man in the selection.

He spent the most minutes on the floor (34.9) for the vice champions, dished out 3.3 assists and proofed to be a real pickpocket with his 2.3 steals per game.

Bronze Medal winners Slovenia saw their sharp shooting guard Aleksej Nikolic bring home one of the All Tournament team awards after leading them to silverware in the small final.

His assist/turnover ratio of 2.5 meant no. one in the tournament and his 3pt accuracy of 40% was a big part of Slovenia's success.

In addition to that he handed out 4 assists per game and corralled 3 rebounds every night.

Shane Hammink of The Netherlands booked one of the Forward spots for himself after leading his team to the Semi-Finals.

With 17.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game was a reliable source of energy for the Dutch and the Power Forward shone with 11 appearances in statistical top ten rankings.

The last member of the group is England's Joshua Ward-Hibbert.

He was fueling the English game with 18.1 points and 6.1 rebounds, a remarkable number for a wing player.
