Having missed the Qualifying Round last summer, Mirza Teletovic is back for Bosnia and Herzegovina and that means the team get the services of their marquee player once again. After five years of impressing in both Euroleague and in the ACB in Spain, this top level performer brings plenty to the table and not least his trademark killer game from the perimeter. Acknowledged as one of the best perimeter skilled big men in Europe, Teletovic has put many opponents to the sword and games to bed with his devastating range. From dagger threes at key times to buzzer-beating game-winners, he is someone who will need to be locked down in a big way otherwise he can destroy you. A former MVP of the prestigious Copa Del Rey, Teletovic has won a raft of trophies in Vitoria since moving from his hometown team via Oostende. He isn't just about jacking up three-balls however, as he can finish around the hoop and will utilise a power dribble when required to explode to the hoop and if he feels in the mood, throw down a big dunk. A solid rebounder, he will bring experience of previous EuroBasket action having played in the 2005 tournament. He is essential to the National Team, who struggle without him and consequently he has a heavy load of expectation and responsibility to carry on his shoulders.
