A trio of Lotos PKO BP players, including Polish league MVP Chamique Holdsclaw, have this week joined the enemy.
Holdsclaw, Dominique Canty and Slobodanka Maksimovic are leaving Gdynia to play for Wisla Can-Pack Krakow next season.
The three will link up with Anna De Forge, the star of Wisla's thrilling title-clinching victory over Lotos PKO earlier this month.
Holdsclaw and Canty actually played for Wisla in their title-winning campaign of 2006-07 before leaving for Lotos PKO.
The addition of Maksimovic, a Serbian center, is a crucial one.
She averaged 9.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game last season in the EuroLeague Women.
Lotos PKO BP, whose coach Roman Skrzecz and sporting director Krzysztof Koziorowicz both left the club after the championship defeat, are busy putting their new team together as well.
They have gone to Italy to sign the outstanding shooter at Viterbo, Michelle Maslowski.
