Bourges Basket completed a 2-0 sweep of Mondeville to reach the French LFB play-off finals and now await the winner of Lattes Montpellier's Game 3 against Challes-les-Eaux.

The decider will be played at Lattes Montpellier on Wednesday.

Bourges and Lattes Montpellier competed in the EuroLeague Women this season and the former are the defending champions of France. Mondelville played in the EuroCup Women.

Valérie Garnier's team edged Game 1 of their Semi-Final at Mondeville, 54-53, but were far more convincing in the second, prevailing 67-47 on Saturday evening to advance.

Bourges had a 40-23 advantage by half-time and though Mondeville closed the gap to 12 in the second half, the French giants' lead was never in doubt.

Endene Miyem had 16 points for Bourges and her fellow France internationals Celine Dumerc and Emmeline Ndongue poured in 12 apiece.

Touty Gandega paced Mondeville with 12 points while 21-year-old Giedre Paugaite, a member of Lithuania's EuroBasket Women 2011 squad, contributed 12.

Challes-les-Eaux, meanwhile, had won the first encounter 74-69 but they crashed to a 78-58 defeat in Game 2 at Lattes Montpellier, who were led by Gaelle Skrela's 19 points.

Fatimatou Sacko was also solid, finishing with 18 points and nine boards.

Clubs not contending for titles are still fighting to finish as high as possible in the Challenge Round to boost their chances for EuroCup Women qualification.

Nantes Rezé swept Tarbes after winning Game 2, 66-54.

Johanne Gomis and Sarah Michel each scored 15 points for Nantes.

Hainaut Basket forced a deciding third contest against Basket Landes by winning Game 2 of their series, 60-54.

Amisha Carter had 33 points for Hainaut.

The winner of that Game 3 on Tuesday night will square off against Nantes in a fight for fifth place.
