Edit Ratkaine Eordogh scored 19 points and Amber Holt added 16 to lift MKB Euroleasing to an 83-73 win over Bourges Basket in Group C of the EuroLeague Women. After a hard-fought game, MKB pulled away in the final quarter to take the spoils and move level with Bourges with a 3-4 record in the group. Endene Miyem's three-pointer for Bourges had tied the game at 57-57 with 1:48 to go in the third quarter. But MKB responded with an 8-1 lead that put them ahead for good as they gradually pulled away through the fourth quarter. After Holt's jump-shot put them ahead by six, 73-67 with 5:03 to go, back-to-back misses from Styliani Kaltsidou and Miyem seemed to break Bourges' spirit as Dora Horti then made two free throws and a jump-shot to stretch the lead to 10, 77-67. Jelena Milovanovic and Katalin Honti both added 12 points for MKB. Essence Carson led Bourges with 17 points, while Miyem and Kaltsidou added 15 each. |
