Bourges Basket battled past TEO Vilnius 60-54 in the second game of their best-of-three EuroLeague Women Quarter-Final on Friday to qualify for the Final Four.

The French side, who won the opening game of the series 66-60 on Tuesday, followed that up with a solid all-round display in Lithuania and were never really in danger of relinquishing a lead they established in the first quarter.

Greece star Evanthia Maltsi top-scored for Bourges with 16 points, while Cathy Melain and Celine Dumerc both weighed in with 12 points.

TEO had a great match from American guard Katie Douglas (17 points and seven rebounds), but they were unable to stop Bourges in their tracks.

The French side were ahead for the majority of the game, building a 19-15 lead by the end of the first quarter.

With 30 seconds left in the second period, Bourges had stretched their cushion to nine points, but the hosts scored the last three points of the half to go in 35-29 behind.

Maltsi had scored 13 points by then and her side did not relent in the third quarter.

Despite being pulled back to within two points (42-40), they did not waver and Cathy Melain's three-pointer in the last seconds of the period put them 50-43 ahead at the break.

TEO went on a 5-0 run at the start of the fourth quarter, thanks to Jurgita Streimikyte's three-pointer and a Douglas lay-up, to reduce the deficit again.

But Bourges hit back again, and were 59-52 ahead with 2:06 left.

The final two minutes proved to be a formality for the visitors, who become the first team to qualify for the Final Four.
