Career: CFBB (France-NF2, 2000-03), Bourges (France-LFB, 2003-06), Valenciennes (France-LFB, 2006-07), USK Prague (Czech Republic, 2007-08), Cras Basket Taranto (Italy-A1, 2008-11)
While it is never easy to get plentiful court-time in a French frontcourt packed with so many riches, Elodie Godin is absolutely solid as a rock and always a reliable option for Coach Vincent who spent time with her at Bourges where she was named a EuroLeague Women All Star at the age of twenty and won plenty of trophies. She was also the LFB Young Player Of The Year in both 2004 and 2005 and grabbed plenty of medals for the National Team at youth level. Having since moved on to further success in Italy with Cras Basket Taranto via USK Prague in the Czech Republic, she has showed she knows how to fit into a winning team. Very much a no-nonsense player who just gets the job done for the team, Godin has good hands and is a hard worker who is always ready to contribute scoring or rebounding when called upon. |
