Laia Palau has signed a two-year extension to her contract at Spanish giants Ros Casares.

The announcement comes a week after Ros Casares qualified for the Women Euroleague Final Four for the first time in the club's history.

The Spanish international, who joined the Valencia team last summer from Bourges, has been a pivotal player in Manolo Real´s side.

She will be with the team until June 2009.

"I am extremely satisfied to be able to continue at this club," she said.

"As the club has proved this season, there is a very ambitious project. We have qualified for the Final Four and with the continuity of the majority of the players, the club assures itself a high level in the future."

Ros have also renewed the contracts of Delisha Milton-Jones, Elisa Aguilar as well as Polish international Margo Dydek.

Palau took part in the three-point shooting contest at the EuroLeague Women All Star Game last week in Valencia.

In the EuroLeague Women Final Four, Ros will take on Palau's former team, Bourges, in Vidnoje on March 30.

The Valencia team won the Copa de la Reina earlier this year and they lead the Liga Femenina with 19 wins from 22 games.
