Bourges-Basket pulled off a 76-62 win over Lotos Gdynia in a EuroLeague Women match on Thursday.

Outstanding for the French side was Bernadette Ngoyisa who poured in 23 points as well as grabbing eight rebounds.

She received stout support from Cathy Melain whose 13 points and nine rebounds helped her side go to a 4-2 record in Group B while the Poles are now only 2-4.

It was a tremendous last quarter from the French visitors that made the difference.

The first period was shared 17-17 before Bourges took the second 20-11 to lead 37-28 at the halfway point.

However, the Poles took the third period 24-18 to set up a frantic finale.

Melain's experience told in the final period which was won 21-10. 

The victory propels Bourges up to second behind Gambrinus Sika Brno who fell to their first reverse of the season on Wednesday.
