It looks like the time has come for Rodriguez to finally get the chance to shine at senior level, having already done so in the 3x3 version of the game. Ever-impressive when suiting up for Spain at youth level including a farewell gold medal with coach Mondelo at the U20 European Championship in Serbia two years ago, the guard has continued to get rave reviews during her highly successful final year in the NCAA with Florida State University. She has spoken of a new mentality in the last 12 months or so, and with this hardened focus alongside her fantastic shooting and passing attributes, she looks to have a great chance of being one of the new generation players who will pick up the baton from the veterans in coming years. |
