Virtus Bologna survived a tense finish to become the first team to book their place in the semi-finals of the EuroCup with a 59-54 victory over Turk Telekom on Thursday night.
Having won game one of the series 95-87 on Tuesday, Virtus came from behind in the final quarter to go through without the need of a third game. Virtus had led by as many as nine points in the second quarter but quickly squandered the advantage they had built as Turk Telekom kept it close the rest of the way. |

Jan-Hendrik Jagla poured in 19 points as Turk Telekom returned to the top of the Turkish standings with an 88-65 win over Alpella.
Jagla and Co took command in the first quarter with a 29-18 lead and extended that to 47-34 by half-time en route to a comfortable victory. |
