Jorn Steinbach is an emerging point guard who has been one of the stand-out performers for Belgium at youth level in recent years. More recently, he has shown he can exert his influence and ability in the Belgian league which has pushed him to the brink of a call-up by Coach Casteels to the senior team. Having also tasted European club competition in EuroChallenge, he wouldn't be overawed if he was handed his opportunity. While he can score and is an excellent rebounder, his playmaking skills and potential leadership is what sets him apart. Indeed he has been pin-pointed as a potential floor general in the future for the senior team but right now he is vying to firstly make a breakthrough by booking a spot on the bench. |
