|Sava Lesic led te rout over the Dolphins with 14 points|
BC Khimik Yuzhne blew away the Norrkoping Dolphins 81-51 to secure their place in the quarter-finals of the EuroChallenge.
At tip-off, both teams stood a chance of advancing from Group K but Khimik wasted no time in making clear that they considered second place in the group behind Krasnye Krylia to be theirs.
They scored the opening five points of the game and back-to-back three-pointers from Suad Sehovic and Devoe Joseph gave them an 11-1 lead after just three-and-a-half minutes of action.
A 6-0 run then made it 19-6 on Sava Lesic's lay-up, while a 13-2 spurt in the second quarter expanded the gap to 42-19 when Joseph dunked.
They took a 49-23 lead into the locker rooms and only continued to pull away in the second half.
Their biggest lead came midway through the third quarter when an 8-0 spurt made it 61-27 on Sergiy Popov's jump shot.
Sava Lesic led Khimik with 14 points while Stanislav Zavadskyi had 12, Sehovic added 11 and Joseph 10. Popov had nine with nine assists.
None of the Dolphins scored in double figures, with Pierre Hampton and Christian Maraker both making nine.
The final score means Khimik finish with a 3-2 record behind the unbeaten Krasnye Krylia, while the Dolphins drop to 1-5 at the foot of the standings.
