Fuenlabrada cruised to victory over visiting Norrköping Dolphins in EuroChallenge Group A on Tuesday.
Among the favorites to go deep in the competition, the Spanish outfit led by 25 points before coasting to an 89-75 triumph.
Kirk Penney had 15 points and 25-year-old Senegalese center Mouhamed Sene poured in 13 while hauling in a game-high 12 rebounds.
Gustavo Ayon and Leo Mainoldi also poured in 10 points apiece for the Madrid-based club.
The Dolphins, who are coached by Paul Burke, did have their moments.
An Andrew Mitchell three-pointer gave the Swedish outfit a 19-16 lead seven minutes into the contest.
Fuenlabrada answered with a 9-0 run.
The Dolphins didn't go away, though, with a Mikko Riipinen tying the encounter at 27-27 with 7:00 to play in the second quarter.
Veteran Lubos Barton replied with a shot from the arc and Mexico international Ayon followed with six straight points for a 36-27 Fuenlabrada lead.
By half-time, the advantage was 50-38 and Fuenlabrada remained on top by a double-digit margin the rest of the way.
