Sweden captured a bronze medal at the U18 European Championship Women on Sunday after pulling away late in the third quarter against the Czech Republic in Södertälje.
The tournament hosts, whose title dreams were ended by Spain in Saturday's semi-finals, prevailed 67-54.
France delivered the telling blows in the first half and crushed the Czech Republic 74-52 to reach the final of the U18 European Chammpionship Women in Södertälje.
Les Bleuets trailed 11-7 five minutes into the contest but then scored the next 14 points of the game to go in front 21-11.
The Czech Republic won bronze last year and now they are a victory away from reaching the podium again at the U18 European Championship for Women following an 80-68 triumph over Serbia.
The win has put the Czechs into a meeting with France in the Semi-Finals.
Alena Hanusova scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Czech Republic to a 59-47 victory over Russia on Wednesday.
The Czech center also corralled nine rebounds and blocked two shots as her team guaranteed themselves a place in the Quarter-Final stages of the U18 European Championship Women.
