While most of the current Czech talent seems to be Spain-bound these days, playmaker Jakub Kudlacek has found his niche in Italy. He kick-started his professional career with Pallacanestro Reggiana and grew through that club's junior ranks. He played on loan with San Severo before moving to Caserta in 2011 for whom he averaged 5.4 points-per-game in Lega Basket. Then in September 2012 he was given the chance to play in Euroleague when Cantu picked him up on loan. He averaged 5:39 minutes on the floor in four appearances. Kudlacek has featured in the country's national youth teams and has been a regular with the senior squad, including the EuroBasket 2013 Qualification Round.
