Slovenia and the Czech Republic on Saturday clinched promotion to Division A of the U18 European Championship Men.
The Slovenians won 81-53 over Slovakia in this year's Division B tournament in Debrecen, Hungary, while the Czechs turned on the style with a 71-47 mauling of Poland.
Slovenia and the Czech Republic will now square off to decide the Division B title.
Mitja Nikolic Smrdelj and Mirza Sarajlija scored 15 points apiece for the Slovenians in their rout.
They enjoyed a storming start and led 25-10 early in the second quarter before going to half-time with a 34-22 advantage.
Slovenia then delivered the knockout punch in the third quarter by outscoring the Slovakians 26-8.
Richard Grznár, the tournament's top scorer at 21.3 points per game, poured in 18 and had three assists in defeat for the Slovakians.
Jan Vesely and Tomás Satoránský, two other star performers in the Division B event, each had 17 points for the Czechs in their thrashing of the Poles.
Poland were on top 12-10 at the end of the opening quarter only for the Czech Republic to reel off a 12 of the next 14 points over the next four and a half minutes.
Satoranský started the scoring burst with a lay-up and Vesely ended it with a dunk as the Czech team led 22-14.
They remained in front the rest of the way.
The Slovaks will meet Poland to decide third and fourth place.
