The Czech Republic and Hungary both remained undefeated ahead of their decisive Group A showdown, capturing victories on Saturday over Belarus and Slovakia, respectively, at the Termosteps U16 European Championship Women.
Adela Filarova paced five players in double figures with 15 points as the 2006 runners-up Czechs beat up on Belarus 93-56.
The Czechs forced 36 turnovers in building a 13-point lead after one quarter and never looking back.
Maryia Filonchyk collected 16 points and 14 rebounds and Tatsiana Kandyba added 14 points in a losing cause for Belarus, who dropped to 0-2 in the group.
In the group's second match, Hungary scored the first 11 points en route to an easy 66-36 win over Slovakia to move to 2-0. Dorottya Tamis led all scorers with 21 points while Reka Balint added 12 points and Emese Kovalcsik had nine points and 11 rebounds.
The Slovaks found themselves behind 26-7 midway through the second quarter and could never get back in the game. Martina Kissova tried her best to keep Slovakia somewhat near, scoring 14 points and grabbing seven rebounds.
But Daniela Potocnakakova was Slovakia's second-best scorer with eight points off the bench.
Slovakia and Belarus face off on Sunday to determine who avoids the fight against relegation to Division B.
The Czechs and Hungary meanwhile hook horns for top honours in Group A.
