Martina Gyurcsi has not played in her homeland for a long time now. In fact she is best known in France, where she has played since 2001. That could be why she has not played a lot for the national team. Her first time pulling on the Slovakian shirt was in the qualifying round for the EuroBasket Women 2007, where she averaged 7.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. Since 2007, Martina has played in the EuroCup Women with Challes-les-Eaux. Last season she averaged 14.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists on the European scene.
