Hosts Armenia made a statement on the opening day of the European Championship Women Division C, crushing Gibraltar 98-45 on Monday.
Playing in front of a Division C-record crowd of 1,500 fans Christina Kepenekian led the way with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Hasmik Mamikonyan was as impressive with 13 points and 15 boards, 13 of them coming on the defensive end of the floor.
The Armenians took control of the game early with Amanda Jackson's three-point jumper sparking an 11-0 run that would see her side up 21-6 at the end of the first quarter.

Annika Cross led the way for Gibraltar with 15 points and eight rebounds.
Moldova had a tougher time with Andorra, winning 88-62.
Anastasia Ghitu put in the performance of the day with 30 points, 10 rebounds and four steals.
Andorra paid the price for a slow start, going down 22-5 at the end of the first quarter.
They played well the rest of the way but could not recover from the early deficit.
Malta were the other winner on Monday, holding Scotland to just 35 points to go top of Group B.
The Scots will have a chance to make amends on Tuesday when they face Wales, while Gibraltar take on Andorra and Armenia face Moldova.
