Aleksandar Kostoski made his senior team debut two years ago during the EuroBasket 2011 Qualification Round and he later made the cut for the Olympics Qualifying tournament. But neither in 2011 nor in 2012 did Kostoski play more than four minutes in a game. However, he can be a decent back-up point guard after proving his talent at youth European Championships. He averaged almost 19 points back in 2008 during the U20 European Championship Division B. Kostoski is a quick point guard who likes to score as well as create for his partners. He needs to upgrade his defence to make a step towards the next level. He played his last season for local club KK Kumanovo and was influential, scoring 19 points-per-game.
