Bajramovic Doesn’t Lose Hope After Defeat

Losing by 23 points at Belgium on Monday night damaged Bosnia and Herzegovina's chances of topping Group A of the Additional Qualifying Round for the EuroBasket.

The 102-79 setback was so decisive that it gave Belgium victory in a potential tie-breaker with the Bosnians to win the group should the teams both finish 3-1.

Advantage Belgium As They Rock Bosnia

Belgium shook up Group A of the EuroBasket 2009 Additional Qualifying Round by thumping previously unbeaten Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday, 102-79.

Jef Van Der Jonckheyd scored 20 points, Dimitri Lauwers 16 and Axel Hervelle had a game-high 12 rebounds to go with his 10 points for Belgium.

So Far, So Good For Teletovic-less Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnia and Herzegovina are playing without arguably their best player in the Additional Qualifying Round for the EuroBasket and so far, it hasn't proved costly.

Tau Ceramica star Mirza Teletovic isn't fully fit and won't be available for his country unless they qualify for the Final Round in Poland, yet they have still claimed a 62-56 triumph in Portugal and followed that up with an 82-77 victory at home over Belgium.
