More HeadlinesBosnia and Herzegovina held off a resilient Portugal 73-61 on Friday to strengthen their grip on first place in Group A of the EuroBasket Additional Qualifying Round. Mensur Bajramovic's team won for the third straight time, but Belgium can still overtake them and claim top spot if they manage to beat Bosnia and Herzegovina at home by five points or more and then win in Portugal in their last game. |

Bosnia and Herzegovina are playing without arguably their best player in the Additional Qualifying Round for the EuroBasket and so far, it hasn't proved costly. Tau Ceramica star Mirza Teletovic isn't fully fit and won't be available for his country unless they qualify for the Final Round in Poland, yet they have still claimed a 62-56 triumph in Portugal and followed that up with an 82-77 victory at home over Belgium. |
