Coach Petrovic had big plans for him in the Qualification Round last summer, but an Achilles injury postponed his debut for the national team. Pasalic earned another shot this summer after what arguably was the best year of his career when he led Aris in points and assists last season. If he makes the squad, Pasalic will represent his country for the first time since 2005 at the U18 European Championship Division B. He is not overly athletic, but his ability to perform in roles either as a starter or off the bench makes Pasalic a good asset on any team. In addition, he takes good care of the ball and can hurt opponents from behind the arc, as his specialty is three-point shooting. Pasalic now wants to carry his good form into EuroBasket, and give Bosnia and Herzegovina additional depth at the point guard position.
