U18 WOMEN DIVISION B
Bulgaria and Germany had gone into the Second Round of the U18 European for Women Division B on a roll, having claimed wins in their first four games.
Hungary and England however brought an end to their perfect runs on Wednesday.
Amadea Szamosi had 12 points and 19 rebounds for Hungary as they surprised Bulgaria in Group E, 57-54, and England stunned Germany in Group F, 81-76.
Regina Pap also had 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Hungarians.
The winners were on top, 55-41, with 7:07 to go but then eased up and let Bulgaria get back into the contest.
Bulgaria went on a 13-1 run and closed the gap to 56-54 with 33 seconds to go.
Radostina Dimitrova had six points in the run as the Bulgarians threatened to overhaul the deficit.
Hungary held on for a narrow victory.
Shequila Joseph and England trailed 62-54 going to the last quarter but outscored Germany 27-14 over the last 10 minutes for an 81-76 triumph.
Portugal remained undefeated in Group E with a 75-62 triumph over Denmark.
Josephine Filipe scored 18 points and corralled 12 rebounds while Maria Kostourkova had 12 boards to go with her 10 points.
Belarus are also still with an unblemished record.
They took control from the off against Lithuania and romped to a 77-45 win.
Belarus outscored the Baltic side 27-5 in the first quarter and never turned back.
Hanna Kalenta poured in nine of her 17 points in the opening frame for Belarus. She also finished with 10 rebounds.
In Classification Round games, Latvia blew out Scotland, 101-29, Israel defeated Norway, 72-55, Austria overcame Switzerland, 53-41, and Montenegro beat F.Y.R. of Macedonia, 61-51.
