Hero: Lithuania's Ksistof Lavrinovic scored six points in that crucial surge. He led Lithuania in scoring with 16 points while pulling down six rebounds and dishing out four assists.
Key Stats: Lithuania were 22 of 24 (92%) from the free-throw line while their opponents finished eight of 11 (73%) from the charity stripe.
Lithuania remained alive at the 2009 EuroBasket with an 84-69 victory over Bulgaria, advancing to the Qualifying Round in Lodz and sending their rivals home.
Ramunas Butautas' men pulled away midway through the final quarter to claim their first victory in Wroclaw.
"We are relieved to have taken the win," said Lithuania center Robertas Javtokas. "But we are still not happy with the way we are playing.

"Things are not clicking for us at the moment and we hope we can get it right in the Qualifying Round."
Lithuania forward Ksistof Lavrinovic led his team in scoring with 16 points while dishing out four assists.
Marijonas Petravicius poured in 13 while Simas Jasaitis added 11 for the victors.
The naturalised Bulgarian from the United States Earl Rowland had a game-high 18 points in defeat.
Bulgaria, who lost their straight contest, made Lithuania work for the victory but run out of gas in the final five minutes.
With Lithuania leading 66-64 with 5:32 remaining, Butautas' side went on a 10-0 run over the next two minutes to take command.
Ksistof Lavrinovic had six points in that crucial surge.
"We knew it wasn't going to be easy," admitted Javtokas. "Bulgaria were also playing for a spot in the next round.
"They battled hard but we managed to get the victory."
Lithuania showed an improvement in certain aspects of their game.
Having struggled from the free-throw line in their defeats to Turkey and Poland, they finished 22 of 24 (92%) from the charity stripe against Bulgaria.
However, turnovers are still a problem for Lithuania, who made 20 on the night while Bulgaria finished with 13.
Bulgaria were out-rebounded 46-41.
