Bulgaria defeated Israel convincingly on the final day of a three way tournament in Varna to boost their spirits ahead of the fast approaching EuroBasket qualifiers.
The 89-66 victory was a healthy tonic for a team who had lost 73-67 in their previous match, to Romania.
Natalia Topova was the day's star performer, helping herself to 23 points with good backing from Marinela Agarileva and Milena Tomova (18 points each).
Israel, who lost all four quarters, were only kept afloat by a typically bullish performance from Liron Cohen, who scored 22 points in a losing cause.
Bulgaria begin their Group A qualifiers with a match-up against Belarus on September 6 while Israel - in Group B of the same division - meet Slovenia on the same day.
