Pavel Marinov was included in the squad for the Qualifying Round last summer but unfortunately a heel injury kept him out of action. An exciting small forward who is easy on the eye, he has made significant strides during the last two years and he continues to visibly improve his game with each passing month, despite playing for Yambol who are not one of the teams challenging for honours in Bulgaria. His leaping ability is one of his most distinctive features, and his explosive action around the rim was one of the reasons he was crowned a Bulgarian league All Star player earlier this year. As well as his finishing ability, he can also shoot the ball too. However, more often than not you will see him forcing the issue and taking the ball to the basket with both hands.
