The FIBA Europe League has not been kind to WTK Anwil Wloclawek but the domestic scene is a different story.
Anwil, who lost to Tuborg Pilsener on Wednesday night in Europe - they are now 1-3 in that competition - punched back in the Era Basket Liga to win 68-61 over Prokom Trefl Sopot and claim sole possession of first place in the standings.
By the end of the first quarter, Anwil led 20-14 but Prokom hit back and held a 52-45 advantage by the end of the third quarter.
However, Anwil's Gintaras Kadziulis led the home side in the final quarter as they crushed the opposition 23-9. The Latvian topped the scoring charts with 16 points.
They were level on 10 points with Anwil before tip-off but are now in second place.
