All-Star Day Rosters Finalised

The fan and coaching voting has finished, the FIBA Europe panel of experts has met and the 12-man rosters for the upcoming FIBA Europe League All-Star Day Rosters have been decided.

All-Star Day Coaches Announced

FIBA Europe today announced the head coaches that will participate in the FIBA Europe League All-Star Day, scheduled to take place on 16th March 2004 in Kiev Ukraine.

The format of the game will be Europe v. Rest of the World and rosters will consist of 12 players per side.

Everyone who was at Ivanofeio on Friday night may need medical attention, as the double overtime was enough to put stress on even the strongest of nerves.

During the game, both teams had victory snatched from them on more than one occasion. It was more like a thriller than a basketball game! Both teams showed character and proved that their presence in this years “sweet sixteen” of the FEL competition is not a coincidence.

Anwil Wloclawek 85 Aris BSA 96

Nestoras Kommatos has proved to be Aris' best player and leader this season in the FIBA Europe League. In the first game of the series against Anwil, he lived up to that role, scoring 32 points and guiding Aris to an away win.

Kommatos set the tone early as he scored 15 first quarter points, including 3 three-pointers. It was enough for Aris to earn a small lead and after 10 minutes they led 24:27.
