Samara overcame the dissapointment of their weekend Russian cup final loss to rivals Ekaterinburg with a comprehensive victory over Delta ICP Kosice in the EuroLeague Women play-offs.
The contest was never close as Kosice found themselves outclassed by Samara's international superstars.
Samara exploded for 31 first quarter points, while holding Kosice to just 5.
Kosice struggled with their shooting throughout the whole contest and made just 20% of their field goal attempts.
Samara got a balanced scoring effort as 7 of their players hit double figures, led by Ilona Korstine with 18 and Demya Walker with 15 points.
