K Cero VODS Kosice coach Vladimir Karnay believes his team have a great chance to go through to the last 16 of the EuroCup Women after drawing Szeviep Szeged in the sixteenth-finals.
The Slovakian side avoided a potential banana skin in the form of local rivals Ruzomberok.
Karnay said: "We watched a match in our group after our game in Marijampole and it looked as though we would be playing Ruzomberok.
"We play that team in the Slovakian league this season and that would have been the worst outcome.
"Szeged are better opponents, although they are a quality team.
"We are looking forward to playing these opponents and I believe we can go through to the next round."
Karnay's Ruzomberok counterpart, Marian Svoboda, was less enthusiastic about their tough tie in Lavezzini Parma.
She said: "We do not know a lot about this opponent, only the statistics of Parma from their group.
"Parma finished in second place in the group like us. They are a quality team and I think our games will be very tight.
"We want to advance to the next round so we will have to concentrate - we are not thinking about the team we will play in the quarter-finals."
