Cajasol have endured a turbulent start to the season with the team's poor form in the Spanish ACB costing coach Manel Comas his job.

But the team saw a ray of hope on Wednesday night on their EuroChallenge debut as they beat Energa Czarni 89-75 under new boss Pedro Martínez.

Tyrone Ellis scored 23 points and Juan Jose Triguero Estruch 21 for Cajasol, who had to overcome some nervous moments before tasting victory.

Energa Czarni got no closer than four points the rest of the way.
