EuroChallenge side Cajasol Sevilla have decided to part with veteran coach Manel Comas after the club's 1-7 start in the Spanish League ACB.

Ángel Jareño and Rocky Jarana will lead the club until a permanent replacement is found.

Meanwhile Great Britain international Joel Freeland had another impressive game for Gran Canaria with a team-high 20 points and eight rebounds on Thursday as they won for the seventh time in eight games in the ACB, beating Bruesa 96-92.

The win has kept Gran Canaria at the top of the standings alongside Tau Ceramica, who also won their game on Thursday at DKV Joventut 97-83.
