ACB strugglers Cajasol  have handed the reins to Pedro Martínez following last week's decision to part with coach Manel Comas.

Martínez, 48, will attempt to spark the Seville outfit into life with the club having won just once in nine games.

The Spanish outfit will play in this season's EuroChallenge.

Martínez has been given a contract that will see him stay with Cajasol through the 2009-10 campaign.
