Olesya Malashenko continued her dominant performance at the Termosteps U16 European Championship Women in collecting 38 points and 23 rebounds in Ukraine's 80-71 victory over Belgium in Group F of the Qualifying Round.
Malashenko remains the leading scorer of the tournament (24.4 points) and moved to second in rebounding (14.6) after collecting her third double-double in five games for Ukraine.

The French were ahead 64-50 with 5:14 remaining but saw that lead melt to one point with 30 seconds left. France only survived as Diandra Tchatchouang and Helena Yasmina Akmouche both made two free throws in the final 16 seconds. |

Three-time defending champions Spain continued to march through the field at the Termosteps U16 European Championship Women with a 68-60 victory over Belgium to remain undefeated. Leonor Rodriguez led 3-0 Spain with 19 points, nine rebounds and four steals while Cristina Pedrals Barrios added 16 points, five rebounds, five assists and six steals. |
