Maurita Reid collected 20 points and 12 rebounds as HATIS Yerevan pulled off a major upset with an 87-64 defeat of Besiktas in Istanbul. Ganna Zarytska added 17 points and Bojana Vulic had 16 as Yerevan dominated from long range, making 14 of 30 (46.6%) as a team. Reid personally made five of seven (71.4%) from three-point range. Gidden led the winners with a massive 27 points and 18 rebounds. In the group's other game, Dynamo Moscow stayed perfect at 3-0 by winning away to Dunav Econt Ruse 77-67. Natalia Vodopiyanova led the way with 16 points. Municipal Targoviste picked up their second win in Group H and condemned Samsun Basketball to a third straight defeat, winning 72-63 in Samsun. The Turkish club had no answer to Shay Doran's 25 points, while Nicky Anosike had 12 points and 12 rebounds. CCC Polkowice stayed perfect in Group D by beating Saarlouis Royals 86-75 behind 25 points from Daria Mieloszynska. Dynamo Kyiv levelled their record at 1-1 to create a three-way tie in Group K after beating Zeljeznicar NLB 77-63 as Joei Clyburn grabbed 20 points and 10 rebounds. Hajdana Radunovic had 20 points and 10 rebounds as Seat Gyor routed Vagos 86-53 to move up to second with 2-1 record in Group A. Brooke Reves had 27 points and 12 rebounds as Botas Spor beat winless Baschet ICIM 93-81. |
