It looks like the center could be in line for a recall, having missed last summers' qualifiers. She not only brings a real physical presence in the paint which is particularly beneficial defensively, but she also has plenty of experience having played briefly in both the WNBA and Spain. An excellent rebounder, Ress honed her skills at Boston College and enjoyed an impressive NCAA career. She has good hands, some nice interior moves, is fiercely competitive and will operate seamlessly in both the low and high post. Coach Ricchini will know that her defensive capabilities alone could be significant and enough to tempt him into handing her a peg in the locker room again.
