One of the spectators for the first leg of the EuroCup Women Finals on Thursday night was Anat Draigor.

The former Israeli basketball star not only watched the game, but served as a radio commentator.

She had some very interesting insight into a game that finished 61-61.

One of Draigor's observations was that Ramla are "professionally better" but were "very tired from playing the State Cup that was held three days earlier."

Ramla won the Israeli Cup and, not surprisingly, celebrated after.

Another issue was the fitness of Shay Doron, who was gritting her teeth and playing with a sprained ankle.

Draigor believes Arras are going to be tough in the second leg because, if for no other reason, they'll be at home.

But Draigor thinks the tie is wide open.

"Both teams can also win," she said.

"Ramla and Arras can take the EuroCup"

From the standpoint of Arras coach Bruno Blier, there was disappointment.

Arras had led 51-39 after a lay-up by Olesia Malashenko, they were still in front by nine when they gave allowed Ramla to claim two offensive rebounds and they led to a Ramla three-point play that reduced the deficit to 58-52.

That sparked a comeback that saw Ramla level the score and take away the visitors' momentum.

"Before the game, we would've been happy with a tie, but I feel like we should've won by more so it's disappointing," Blier said.

"Ramla came back because they never give up."
