FIBA Europe announced today the 12-man rosters for the FIBA Europe League All-Star Day, which will take place on 14th April in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Players were selected for the game, which will be played in a Europe vs. Rest of the World format, via a fan vote on fibaeurope.com. 10 players per side were selected by the fans and the remaining 2 places were awarded on a wilcard basis by FIBA Europe.
The FIBA Europe League All-Star Day will take place on 14th April 2005 in Nicosia, Cyprus.
FIBA Europe announced today that St. Petersburg Coach David Blatt will head the Rest of the World team, while Fenerbahce’s Aydin Ors takes on coaching responsibilities for the European side.
FIBA Europe Executive Director Mr. Nar Zanolin was in Cyprus this week to discuss the FIBA Europe League All-Star Day with the Organising Committee.
The FIBA Europe League All Star Day will take place on 14th April 2005 in Nicosia, Cyprus. It will be organised by EKA Lemesos in co-ordination with the Cyprus Basketball Federation.
The FIBA Europe League All Star Day moves to Cyprus this year where it will be hosted by EKA Lemesos.
Guided by club President Michael Loizides, the current Cypriot champions will organise the All Star Day at the 6,000 seat Eleftheria Stadium in Nicosia.
