Ros Are Quarter-Finals Bound

Katie Douglas carried Ros Casares into the Quarter-Finals of the EuroLeague Women with a big 86-63 win over MKB Euroleasing.

Douglas scored 25 points and added eight rebounds as Ros Casares dominated on their home court, having been edged out 72-70 in Game 2 following an 84-56 rout in Game 1.

After a tight battle at the start, Ros Casares began to pull away late in the second quarter with a 7-0 run, capped by a Douglas free-throw, putting them up 43-31 at the break.

They continued to edge away in the third quarter, and any hopes of an MKB fightback were crushed early in the fourth quarter as they reeled off another seven straight points, with Edwige Lawson's three-pointer making it 73-50.

Rebekkah Brunson, Sonia Reis and Cindy Lima all finished with 10 points each for Ros Casares.

MKB were led by 19 points and 12 rebounds from Zane Tamane, while Katalin Honti added 13 points and Amber Holt 10.
