EuroLeague Women Group A has a clear leader in undefeated CSKA Moscow, but the race to second place is wide open after TTT Riga defeated MKB Euroleasing 77-66.
The result has left Riga and MKB with two wins and two defeats, just as Fenerbahce have after their 109-69 mauling in Moscow also on Wednesday.
Lille Metropole can also improve to 2-2 with a victory tomorrow against 0-3 Phard Napoli.
Olena Zherzherunova had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners, who trailed 19-8 at the end of the first quarter but hit their stride over the next 10 minutes in outscoring MKB 27-10 to lead 35-29 at half-time.
The team from Hungary would end up leading by as many as five in the third quarter, but Riga went to the final stanza holding a 54-50 edge and kept their noses in front the rest of the way.
Their biggest lead in the fourth quarter was 12 points and they won comfortably in the end.
MKB, who were out-rebounded 46-33, got 19 points and seven rebounds from Andrea Balas-Pirine Karolyi.
