Krasnye Head To Quarter-Final Round On High Note

Krasnye Krylia wrapped up second spot in Group I with a comfortable 84-68 victory at Proteas EKA AEL.

Neither side had a lot to play for in the game, with hosts Proteas already consigned to bottom spot and Russians Krylia having already secured their place as runners-up.

EiffelTowers Overcome Slow Start, Proteas
A 21-point performance by Anthony Richardson helped EiffelTowers Den Bosch shrug off a poor start in their game with Proteas EKA AEL as they claimed a 91-79 win in Group I.

The home team found themselves trailing 28-20 after some lax defence in the opening period but a strong start to the second quarter swung the momentum in their favour.

BG Göttingen topped Proteas EKA AEL 97-90 in a EuroChallenge Last 16 shootout.

Jason Boone had 20 points and collected 11 rebounds to lead six Göttingen players who scored in double figures, while Proteas had four of their own as the shots kept falling at both ends.
