F.Y.R. of Macedonia outscored Sweden 15-9 in the last quarter and won 67-64 in the U16 European Championship Division B on Wednesday.
Kristijan Nikolov had 32 points for the Balkan team, which took the lead for good with 2:23 remaining on Andrej Cvetkovski's lay-up.
Andrej Magdevski followed with two free-throws and Nikolov followed with a basket for a 66-60 lead.
The Swedes fell despite getting 20 points and 18 rebounds from Hans Skagius.
The result has left both sides with 1-1 records in Second Round Group E behind Belgium, who improved to 2-0 with a 60-59 victory over Israel.
Ordane Kanda-Kanyinda was sensational for the Belgians, scoring 18 points and corralling eight boards.
His biggest points came at the end with a game-winning three-pointer.

In Group F, Hungary prevailed 54-42 over Montenegro after a dominating display by György Golomán.
The 2.04m power forward had 18 points, 18 rebounds and six blocked shots.
Petar Popovic poured in 14 points in defeat.
The result has left both teams with 1-1 records.
In the other Group F battle, Bosnia and Herzegovina rolled to a 69-52 triumph over Portugal.
Aleksandar Lazic finished with 16 points and 15 rebounds for the winners.
That result has also left the two sides with 1-1 records, so there is all to play for in Group F.
In Classification Round, Luxembourg won 99-70 over the Slovak Republic, Austria fell 60-51 to Estonia, Finland hammered Bulgaria, 83-50, Netherlands thumped Georgia 76-53, Belarus won convincingly over Denmark, 89-71 and Romania downed Switzerland.
