Yevgeniy Podorvannyy partners with Oleksandr Rayevskyy to form one of the most prolific backcourts in the Ukrainian Superleague and in the FIBA Europe Cup. The two of them combined for 36 points per game in the European competition... After starting his career in his hometown of Mariupol in the second division, Podorvannyy, a former junior, Under 22 and University national team player moved to MBC Nikolaev where he has played the last six seasons, making the top 5 of the Superleague each year... Podorvannyy’s main asset is his ability to hit the three-pointer as the majority of his shots come from behind the arc. The shooting guard is also automatic from the free-throw line always shooting close to 90%. |
