Miralem HALILOVIC - EuroBasket 2013 Profile

Team 2012-13: KK Zagreb (Croatia-A1)
Career: Sloboda Tuzla (2007-10); KK Zagreb (Croatia-A1, 2010-13)

A stand-out for his country at youth level, Halilovic made a brief debut with the national team when he was still 19, at the very end of the Qualifying Round in 2010. Since then, the youngster helped KK Zagreb lift trophies in Croatia, and got a brief taste of Euroleague action. His development, however, did not all go as planned and Halilovic has not played for Bosnia and Herzegovina again. Finally, late last season, Halilovic got playing minutes with his club and made the best out of the opportunity. After claiming a role in the starting rotation, he averaged 13.9 points and 8.3 rebounds. Highly athletic, with a long body and good ball handling skills, Halilovic is ready to use his freshly acquired confidence, as well as a few unorthodox shots inside the paint, and grab a spot on the EuroBasket squad.
