Lotos Gdynia stayed in the hunt for a place in Round 2 in a high-scoring game that will make Javier Fort's team the talk of Polish basketball this week.
Averaging 69.4 points per contest this season, Gdynia had 62 by half-time when they led VICI Aistes by 19 and went on to clinch a 97-80 victory.
The only side to score more points in the 2011-12 is Rivas Ecopolis, who poured in 112 in a 42-point thumping of Frisco Brno on November 9.
Rivas is the club in Spain that Fort coached before accepting an offer from Gdynia at the end of last season.
Gdynia had six players reach double digits in points, led by former EuroLeague Women All Star Geraldine Robert with 21.
The offenses for both sides stood out in the opening quarter when Gdynia stretched a 19-15 lead with 5:11 remaining to 36-27.
Gdynia's Aneika Henry scored 16 points in the game and had 15 of those in the first quarter.
VICI Aistes got no closer than 10 in the second quarter and went to the break trailing, 62-43.
The Kaunas club did threaten to sneak back into the contest at the end.
Down 88-69 with 4:16 to play, the Lithuanian team poured in eight straight points to close the gap to 88-77.
A three-point play by Sandra Linkeviciene reduced the arrears to 90-80 with 1:50 to play.
Former Good Angels Kosice sharpshooter Ivana Jalcova, now on the books of Gdynia, replied with a three-ball and the hosts added two more baskets to come up three points shy of the century mark.
The result has left Gdynia 2-4 in Group A and dropped VICI Aistes to 1-5.
