Having missed the cut for EuroBasket Women 2011, it looks like the forward could squeeze onto the end of the bench this time having been given a chance during qualification. She played at the World University Games two years ago and last summer gave a glimpse of her potential to be a valuable role player. She offers a strong physical presence inside, is a very capable rebounder and can convert down low. After playing two seasons in EuroCup Women with her hometown club in Klaipeda, she has since played in EuroLeague Women and then back in EuroCup Women with Kibirkstis Vilnius. Her worthiness to the team was magnified with some typically robust displays in the Lithuanian Championship Finals as she helped lead her team to the top of the podium.
