TEO Thrash Beretta Famila After Dominating First Half

TEO Vilnius blew out Beretta Famila 69-43 on Wednesday night to leave EuroLeague Women Group D with three teams boasting 3-1 records.

TEO, two-time defending champions Spartak Moscow Region - a team they have beaten this season - and Maxima Broker Kosice each have three triumphs.

The Lithuanian team led from start to finish in beating the visitors from Schio, Italy.

Rutenis Paulauskas' outfit scored the game's first seven points after a three-ball from Lindsey Wilson and jump shots from Crystal Langhorne and Jurgita Streimikyte.

They extended the advantage to 20-9 by the end of the opening quarter.

TEO then lowered the boom at the beginning of the second quarter with an 8-0 run to seize a 28-9 stranglehold on proceedings.

The Vilnius club outscored Beretta Famila 26-7 in the frame and led 46-16 at half-time.

There was no way back for the Sandro Orlando's team.

Langhorne continued her excellent start to the EuroLeague Women with 20 points and seven rebounds. Wilson ended up making four of six from long range and finished with 17 points.

Beretta Famila were 17 of 57 from the floor.
